The author talks about how she is approached by a friend to be his mistress but due to her all-so –high moral grounding she would never try something like that. I absolutely respect that, I love a woman with morals.
Now, before I go any deeper into this I will mention that I am not a mistress, I do not support the whole practice and I am not interested in being a home wrecker.
Back to subject matter… In the case of twenty something, she met a good man, with a good heart and a good marriage but a greedy dick. All he wanted was extra pussy on a Friday. Twenty admits that she was initially attracted to him but had to accept that he is married. Well that is very noble of you twenty but to me it just sounds like you are a virgin-whore.
Yes, a virgin-whore… the mother of all oxymoron and also the name of a very sweet vodka-tequila-cranberry juice shot. The v-w is the girl who prides herself in being a virgin for the bare fact that she has never been penetrated whereas on the other hand she has done everything else with everyone. She is basically a whore with her hymen intact.
Twenty here is a mistress who isn’t getting fucked, whether she will accept it or not.
Welcome to the new age…
Another issue she addresses is the 2nd wife, a practice that is slowly becoming more popular than smoking weed in campus. Although not publicly, at least 50 percent of married men have or are courting a second wife. This should not be mistaken for a mere mistress or the young pretty college girl he occasionally meets for drinks on Thursday night at changez or rezorous. Wife no.2 shares his affection just as much as wife no.1. It is as real as, maybe even more real than the first marriage given that the man has rediscovered himself and is now more sure of what he wants from life, not blinded by youthful passion or forced into a quick marriage by an unplanned pregnancy.
The strange thing is that even the first wives are accepting this woman, of course with some discretion since no one wants the embarrassment of their friends knowing that they have been co-wifed.
Am not saying that men should use my reasoning as an excuse for infidelity but if you find the love of your life and can afford to be with her without neglecting your family(especially your kids), I don’t see any reason why you should be condemned to eternal damnation for something that is as out of your control as love.
